Question gradeconnect

Has anyone ever heard of or worked with the gradeconnect.com program? Some of my teachers are asking me about it - it's a free online course management program. What do you think?

Angry Haven't used them, but I have used something similar in the past.

I would totally steer you away from a fre online gradebook. I used a similar company to manage my grades about 3 years ago. The company just one day vanished and my grades went with them. It was a nightmare.

Any easy system to learn. My kids and parents love it. Gradeconnect isn't a little company getting ready to go under. It is a group of teachers utilizing the technology to help other teachers. It gets big thumbs up from our tech teachers!

Smile Gradeconnect is great

Gradeconnect is a great program for me. It keeps me in touch with the parents of my students, lets my students know what is going on as regards homework, projects, labs, tests. The parents can see their kid's grades and everything the kid sees. It is a great gradebook and, of course, I back it up with a printed copy so what happened to Nelson is not going to be a problem for me

Default Teacher

Grade Connect has actually been around for a little while. We use it at our school and the teachers love it. It really only takes 5-10 minutes of playing with it to learn most of its features. I had actually emailed them suggesting a feature and next thing I know they incorporated it about a month or 2 later. Check it out you won't be disappointed..

Default New to grade connect this year

Our small school started using gradeconnect this year. We were hesitant at first, but the staff at gradeconnect answerred all our questions and worked with us by e-mail and phone to set the program up. The majority of our parents and staff love it. Our favorite part has been the fact that when we see something we want added or changed, gradeconnect has been quickly responsive to our needs. They are constantly working to improve the program. It may not be for everyone, but for us it has been a great asset.

Try it. It's for free. Just make sure to keep copies of any of your work....just as you would do with any system. I'm pretty happy with it.

Talking Gradeconnect

I was worried at first because I never used an online grade book and course management system. I was wondering if I would understand it or if my students would understand it.
It has worked out great!
