Default New Supply Teacher!

Hello everyone,

I have recently been accepted into the Dufferin Peel Occasional Teaching List. I have reviewed the agreement and I am a little concerned.

I have a full-time job at the moment at an adult learning center, but I desperately want to teach in a classroom. However, I have bills and mortgage payments I cannot ignore.

How often do you get called to supply teach? Am I taking a risk by accepting the offer? I need to know that I am making the right decision and not wind up on the streets working once a week as a supply teacher.
