I have a teacher who has been sick for about a week. Being a nice person I want to send them an email saying get better.
I don't want him to think i'm a **************** up or a creeper. I also don't want to give him the impression that I like him. Put yourself in his shoes what would you think if a student sent you an email? No i'm in highschool... We talk but like once every week... I just dont want it to be awkward. We're not very closse... Thanks |

if I get an email from a kid, normally, I'm fine with it the way you are saying get well soon (although he may not check his school email until he gets back to work)
but this year, I'm afraid the admin/super would interpret this kind of correspondence as inappropriate just because they have a wierd sense of what's innapporpriate.

Jarret has done the same thing His teacher was cool about it too but we had to have a long talk about why this wasnt ok. In some schools he would have been arrested for it

Even an ordinary written mail asking about health and welfare would make that teacher very happy. it shows your concern about him not the possesive nature.
