In order to allow students to use the advance technology in the classroom today while keeping them safe online what are some projects that can be done to incoporate them both?

There is a great web site that I found that teaches students of all ages about internet safety it's called netsmartz.org also in a micorsoft word document I actually inputed what web sites my students can go onto and those are the only web sites they are aloud to get on.
