2nd grade pen pals

Hi. I am a 2nd grade teacher from Ohio. I am looking to start a snail mail letter exchange with another 2nd grade class. My class has 21 students. We would like to start this as soon as possible. Is there anyone else out there thinking of starting up a pen pal exchange?

My daughter is in a 2nd grade gifted class in Baton Rouge, LA - Her class has a total of 13 students. I talked to her teacher a couple of weeks ago about maybe doing this. Has your class found penpals yet?

I teach 2nd grade at a charter school in the Bronx, NY. We have 19 students in our class and are working on personal narrative writing/ letter of intorduction. We'd love to correspond with some students from a different part of the country (especially since we just learned the 50 Nifty United States song!).
