Could someone give me some examples of lesson plans they have made for music lessons from grade K-8?

Do you think the book "The First Days Of School" by Harry K. Wong is good for music teachers to use?

Wong is always good to read. However, the music room is a different setting than most, so you will have to adapt to the music environment. Love and Logic by jim Fey works well in the music classroom as well.

who insist on being told how to teach by a guy who, despite all his great ideas on the subject, doesn't believe in them enough to actually use them himself in the classroom. Just what I need, people who haven't ever been in the classroom, or at the very least, former teachers that haven't been in one in over a decade, telling me how to be a better teacher :rolleyes:
