I teach French in a private elementary school in Indiana. We would like to establish a relationship with a school in Quebec in order to share culture and language. Ideally, we would like to find a class which speaks French, but is studying English, to e-mail (and/or snail mail) . The Canadian class could write as a class and we would answer, as a class. Anyone interested?

There are many french immersion schools that would fit your criteria in Ontario. St. Matthews in Oakville Ontario might come up on a google.ca site and you can go from there.

Thanks for your suggestion. I couldn't find the schools you mentioned when I searched....however, I would like to find schools in or near Quebec City, as I plan to take students to QC, and things might work out that we could "visit" our friends.

Bonjour. I am a French teacher in the Chicago area. I am looking for the a French-speaking class in Quebec City that we might be able to visit as well. (We take our 8th graders to Quebec every year in April).
I have had some luck on the website epals.com. It seems that there are many schools in Quebec looking for penpals.
My email is robeeli@averycoonley.org if you have any questions/ have anything to share.

I'm an English teacher in France and I have pupils who would be interested in writing... maybe they are a little older (they are 12-13) and are beginners in English.

I teach French and Spanish to 12-14 year olds in Pennsylvania. I would love to have my students correspond with your students in France.
Our High School already has an exchange program set up with a school in France and I have been trying for years to get some mail exchanges going for my middle school level students.
Please send information to syoungs@fairview.iu5.org or rayslay@alltel.net
I can't wait to hear from you!
