Grading 8th grade Public Speaking

I am a first year public speaking teacher. I have never taught it before and I am looking for assistance from anyone who has taught the subject. Namely, grading or a rubric for speeches?

Not a professional teacher, I have been in business and in the public for over 25 years, having given numerous television, radio and press interviews.

I might suggest grading on speech delivery, oration clarity, and the ability of the speaker to incorporate both humor and anecdotal content, for starters.
