Can anyone clarify this science question ?

Hi All,

if we fly in the flight in the opposite direction of the earth rotation, can we reach the place soon than through vice versa.

Reason also needed for every answer.Please clarify me regarding this.

Define "sooner"

If we fly at the same speed as the earth travels beneath us, the sun will stay in the same position overhead. In that case, the clock time will not change and it will stay at (say) 11:35 pm.

If you fly even faster, you can make the clock time go backwards. The ground speed of the earth at the equator is about 1000 mph, so this is a common occurrence, especially at higher latitudes.

Of course, real time always advances.
