Hi, I read your message and thought that our grade 6 students can become your students' penpals. We are from Ciputra Elementary in Surabaya, Indonesia. We will be doing a unit on the impact of communication technology in our lives early in September. We think that it's good to know how people in other places use communication technology. Also, it also enables our students to practice their English.
So, are you interested? How can I contact you?
You can contact me: classenam_ce@yahoo.com

Hi! I am a student teacher in Saskatchewan, Canada. Near the end of September I will be starting a unit on Comparing Canadian Communities in Social Studies. I was hoping to set up pen pals from Atlantic Canada, Central Canada (Quebec/Ontario), Western Canada (Coastal/British Columbia), and Northern Canada (Territories & Nunavut). I am hoping to have a group of 3 or 4 students studying each region and gathering research through correspondence with pen pals. If interested please email me at tanyalucky13@hotmail.com. Thank you!

Hi Suzann,
I teach the 3rd grade in northern New Jersey. I have 19 students. Do you have that amount of students to be pen pals with my class? Number is an important issue.
Thanks.

I'd be interested in a pen pal program with another class. I'll have 22 students when school begins after Labor Day. We're from Wayne, PA, outside of Philadelphia. Carol

I am looking for a pen pal that my 10 year old grandson can write. He is a exceptionally bright child and expressed a desire for pen pals. He does not have access to a computer. Please respond.

I have a grade 3 class of 24 students. We are in a predominately middle class area and have a school population of over 500 in Hobart, Tasmania. I would love for my class to be able to write to a U.S school of a different size and/or backgound.
Our school year runs from Feb to Dec.
My email is rachael.anderson@education.tas.gov.au
Cheers

Marcy,
If you have found a penpal class yet, then I would be interested in discussing the possibility with you.
I have 30 kids. I do snail mail so that I can monitor the content.
I've done this before and if the teachers are dedicated to making it work then the kids love it and get
a lot out of experiencing a new friend.
