I'm a teacher in Cambridge, MA and our school doesn't offer a grading system or class web sites. I tried http://www.gradeweb.com and it gave me my own URL to my class web sites and my students can check their grades 24/7 password protected! It's was a cheap acquisition too at about $40/year. I recommend this site to teachers who are in the same boat--interested in technology but stuck in a school that was left behind! :o
