Hello all,
I am trying to figure out the correct term for the following:
To aid addition problems, a number can be represented in different ways. For example, 4=2+2; 6=2+2+2
What did I do to the the 4 and the 6? Did I decompose them? Did I partition them? Did I break them down?
Any other suggestions?
