I was recently a student teacher, but when school starts back I will be a certified teacher, and I will teach the second grade. Alot of these worksheets have really helped me get ready, and I already have the seating charts, back to school worksheets, and I am really confident. I still don't know what to expect, though. Could someone help me?

Congratulations on becoming a teacher. I would suggest that you pick up a book called The First Days of School, by the Wongs. An amazing informative and valuable tool for any first time teacher.

Wear ties - funny ones are great!

Before the children enter your classroom, stand at the door and greet each one, some with a smile, touch, handshake... they will love this and know you truly care ~ not to mention the extra points you will get from your Admin Team! Good luck to you!
