I have to create a web site over the summer for next school year. What sections should I have on it? I'm teaching 5th grade.

I started to post all of my notes on-line. I don't make students photocopies. They print their own. Worked great!

As long as you're talking about web sites, does anyone have a site that got accepted onto teach-nology's "Best Sites" thing? I have lots of content (free worksheets) on mine, but it never appears in their list. I applied twice by filling out the "Ad a url" link, but got no response. I certainly agree to link back and everything-- any idea why they're ignoring my requests?

Just wondering...

I use wwwteacherweb.com
It is colorful, easy to use and parents seem to like it.
I have used it for a number of years now.

I created this one over the holidays ... it's a 'writing partner' for young authors. You might find some ideas for your own site perhaps?

Kind Regards

I built 3 website last summer, my class website http://www.myteacherpages.com/webpages/kallen, my school website http://www.myteacherpages.com/webpages/whitesvilleroad, and the high school band http://www.myteacherpages.com/webpages/tigerbandpride
You are welcome to get ideas from any of the three.

I also teach 5th grade. Good luck.
