Novel Study help

I have a new teacher who wants to do a novel study on the book Dork in Disguise. Does anyone out there have any suggestions? I've searched online but have been unsuccessful in finding much of use.

We are also reading Freak the Mighty in our 8th grade classes. Any suggestions for that one?

Google search that term, and it will lead you to a site on teaching novels which offers many ideas which can be adapted for any novel; also provides lots of links to helpful resources. Be sure to request the How to Teach a Novel packet that is offered there (see bottom of site).

I can't find much on this book myself. We are making a "Movie Poster" to sell the book.
