Anyone read anything good with their 4th graders lately. I have 3 free reads and I wanted to choose something that would be fun for the kids. Any suggestions?

Last year, I read "Surviving the Applewhites" to my students who absolutely loved it. It was especially interesting for many of my boys who were generally disinterested readers. Hope this helps!

My favorite book is "Tuck Everlasting." This book teaches many good lessons about life.

depends on your 4th graders' reading level. oh, and what is the purpose of reading the book? don't you want to integrate reading skills (multiple meaning words, synonyms, main ideas, context clues) with the book you want your class to read?
((why not try books by Judy Blume?))
you know your kids best!

The favorites I have used with 4th grade are "Poppy," "Mr. Popper's Penguins," and "The Cricket in Times Square."
