I have written a play on the following famous African Americans which you might find useful to use during Black History Month(or any time during the school year).
George Washington Carver
Martin Luther King, Jr.
Jackie Robinson
Check them out at my website for teachers/ young people. Hope you find them a positive addition to your planning.
Best,

Thanks to all who felt my To Tell the Truth on Famous African Americans of value to their classrooms. As of 1/8/10, Social Studies School Services has accepted these plays and most of the others posted on my website for publication in a book to be released this spring. I will begin researching new famous people to highlight. If you like the format and have suggestions, please let me know.
These plays are still available at my website at this time:
# Dolly Madison
# Martha Washington
# Eleanor Roosevelt
# King Tut
# Hans Christian Andersen
