help - future inventions project

hoping you can help - we're doing industrial growth, and i found a project about inventions - and what some may be in 2050. i did some searching on line, and having a hard time finding any info. so it will be hard to direct them to any places to research -

anyone know of a site that might be helpful - or another idea?
