Hi I am a new teacher teaching Drama 10 for the first time. I do not have any Drama experience and am actually quite shy (I get red and nervous when in front of crowds!) I have no idea what kind of routine I should create in the drama classroom and I am really looking for guidance in setting up routines, tone, and unit ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

I have no advice really, but I want you to know, I feel your pain. Good luck!

Get a copy (any copy - even one that is 20 years old) of Basic Drama Projects by Fran Averett Tanner. I see used copies on Amazon for $3.50. I have one that is 25 years old and it was invaluable when I started teaching a high school acting class. Hundreds of practical in-class activities and lessons.
As for being a little shy, plan to be a participant in the class along with your students. Frightening? Yes. Worthwhile to you? Definitely. Worthwhile to your students? Absolutely.
Good luck.
first thing you do is get to know the students and then continue from there
