Hello,
My name is Rich Colosi and I am working as a 1st grade teacher in Canandaigua, NY.
Last month, my class was named one of five finalists in the Interwrite Learning video contest - an international contest, which awards a $15,000 classroom makeover grand prize to the class that creates the best video about using technology. Visitors to the Interwrite Learning website can vote for any of the 5 finalists.
My six-year old students and I collaborated to make a song parody of Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl" called "Aint Gonna Hold Us Back (D-I-G-I-T-A-L)." In the video our “digital learners” enthusiastically share some ways they use technology in the classroom, and offer an empowering message of hope to female students.

30% of the final evaluation will be determined by the total number of votes, with the voting period ending on November 8, 2007.
If you could take one-minute out of your time to register on the site below and vote for our class it would be very much appreciated! Don't let the word "register" scare you - it only takes one minute and you will NOT receive SPAM emails.
We need all the votes we can get, so my class and I would really appreciate it if you could forward the link to anyone else that would be interested in the topic.

Thank you very much!
