I find it.
ADHD AND childhood schizophrenic.
Holy crap . TAKE THIS KID OUT OF MAINSTREAM IF HE CAN'T STOP TALKING TO HIS MULTIPLE PERSONALITIES!!!!11
He makes noises, talks to himself, cries, gets fustrated when I tell the class to number their paper from 1-10. He can't manage the simplest of instructions, yet for some reason, he is expected to handle a mainstream geography class with tracking hurricanes, aloud reading, etc. no, I take that back, I'm expected to accomodate for him.
So, in essence, I have to hold the other 26 students up in class while I explain how to number his paper and if I don't, I am the one failing him.
He needs 1 on 1 education, and he does not need to be in my class.
On a side note, when I called his caseload manager today during 1st period, I found out that the ESE teacher has 8 kids in 1st period, I have 12 . How does that work? I'm not even the ESE teacher yet I have to teach almost double the amount of SPED kids AND the other 15 or so regular ed kids, too.
I love pointing out to SPED teachers why I don't individually accomodate like they do in their classes when they ask why I don't.
