When I was in school, my spanish 2 teacher put us in groups of 4-5 an let us pick from a file of untitled fairy tales in spanish. We had to figure out what fairy take we had picked, then act it out in front of the class.

Acting out fairy tales is good. What about acting out everyday situations: ordering food in a restaurant? talking with a salesman (in any kind of store) about what you're shopping for? a job interview? teaching a basic lesson to small children (the alphabet, days of the week, basic grammar.....)? making travel reservations? be a tourist (in Austin or anywhere) and ask for directions or other information?

I found this site that has lots of enrichment resources for Spanish students. http://teachers. thelanguagemenu. com/
