I'm working on an Action Research Plan for my Masters Degree. Currently, I'm in the research stages and will start testing this plan and gathering data on my students and other students when school starts.
I'm planning on looking at the following: What impact will differentiating instruction have on student learning, motivation, and achievement in the English classroom?
I was wondering if anyone had any successful or nonsuccessful experiences with differentiating that they could share? Also, what's the best way to begin this process so that it does not seem overwhelming as I'm going to have to research while still teaching? I'm planning on focusing on two units of study we do with our 9th graders:
1. Informative Speech
2. Raisin in the Sun
Any help, links to resources or experts, or any ideas would be amazing! Thank you!:o
