Dear Science Teachers,

The University of Rochester’s Life Sciences Learning Center has received funding from the National Institutes of Health to create resources and lessons for high school teachers and students on four scientific topics (Stem cells, Neurobiology, Genomics, and Toxicology).

In order to create materials that teachers would find most useful, we would appreciate it if you would tell us what YOU are looking for when you think about creating lessons for your students or want to know more about a current topic in science. We want to know how we can help you teach students about important topics in science, keeping in mind your needs, time constraints, and the necessity of covering required scientific standards.

This survey should take between 5-10 minutes of your time. Your responses are extremely valuable to us and will help guide us in creating more useful resources.

The survey can be found at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=63133015183.

The survey will be CLOSED on Friday, January 19th. We very much need your input to do the best we can on this project! Thank you for your time and the work that you do for your students!

Sincerely,
Shaw-Ree Chen
