Teaching children about feelings & respect

why is it important to teach studenst about feelings & respect? What are some ways of teaching this to students?

The students need to understand that it is normal to feel different ways and to respect one another when they are feeling like this. You could teach the children this by using colours to represent feelings, or put on different music and get the children to recognise the different kinds of music that have different feeling " eg. violine is sad, punk metal is angry ect..
