Pen Pals needed for 5th grade in Texas!

I teach 15 students in my 5th grade class. We are interested in pen pals by way of "snail mail" letters. If you have a few more or less students, that would be fine. my daughters named is julianna kendall she is a 5th grade student , but because she has had a skull fracture that had not healed, she has to be home bound even though her school sends a teacher to her home and taught regular school, she has seemed to have lost the friends she has gathered at school, one at a time, it seems their lives are so involved that a little girl is in a situation that she has no control of and is forgotten. So, as her mother since my calling her old friends parents and hearing excuse after excuse, i believe we have to let that world behind for now, and look for other children that would like to take time in their lives and write my daughter via email , she also has a my space account that she only clicks on people she knows, or maybe through this forum find new friends that can relate to a 11 year old. my email is kendallhorses1961@earthlink.net, and if that child or teacher sounds legit. we can go from there

I know it is the end of the school year, but I am interested in finding penpals for the 2008-09 school year. I teach 4th gr. at a rural school of 400 students, gr. K-5.
