I teach Special Ed. at a middle school, and we have two great programs. One is called reading buddies, and the other one is called social buddies. Reading buddies is when seventh graders come to the Special Ed classroom and read to students, and Social buddies is when eighth graders play games with them. I've really seen my students make new friends, and have fun, and learn with their peers. It's a great program!
