Hi everyone, I have a question. Would teachers, assistants or parents working with special needs children, be interested in using/purchasing learning materials that are personalized for the /student/child. They could cover learning to communicate, all curriculum areas as well as social situations. Examples of the later two would be math, learning 3 strategies to add numbers, or social skills like making my own lunch at home, or eating lunch out at a fast food restaurant. They would include information about and be based on likes of the child and would include as many real life photos as available/possible. They have been used successfully before with a special needs classroom. Would like to hear some opinons good bad and/or ugly on this idea. Thanks for your help.
