Does anyone have lessons on Core Democratic Values for middle level students?

take them through the Preamble of the Constitution... i don't think it gets more core than that...

We the People...

establish justice
insure domestic tranquility
provide common defense
promote general welfare

discuss with them what these 4 things mean and then ask them if the government provides these things now... and how?
