Would someone give me advice on how I would approach a teacher that I work with as an instructional aide on how to handle a student who is bipolar on behavior patterns that I see that she is missing. I feel she is steering this student into trouble. How should I approach her in a profesional way? Thanks

lololol
an aide who knows all the answers. Tell me, what part of your community college AA degree taught you how to diagnose bi-polar?
Stick to grading papers and making copies ;)

"Tell me, what part of your community college AA degree taught you how to diagnose bi-polar?"
Inventing facts again, Choco?
The aide may not have diagnosed bipolar disorder. Moreover, you know nothing of the aide's education.
But I guess that doesn't matter in your overall philosophy of what an aide should be: "shut up and don't have an opinion".

she did self-diagnose by saying the teacher in question failed to diagnose it.
Either way, unless you are a psychologist, you aren't qualified to say an undiagnosed kid needs to be diagnosed. You can recommend an evaluation, but can't say the teacher is failing their duties because you don't think they're right.
grading papers, making copies, that's an aide's job.
