The problem is ... 1 cm= 100 N of force
One tug of war team was pulling a force of 1500 N to the west while the opposing team was pulling with a force of 1350 N to the east. What is the resultant force?
I'm really confused on this, i don't know exactly what it means, so if anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated

A solid has a definite shape and volume. The atoms vibrate in place.

A liquid has a definite volume, but no definate shape. These atoms move around freely.

A gas has no definite shape, and no definate volume. These atoms speed around, but are far apart from eachother.

This is how i remember them.
