Math U See

I am considering using Math U See for my children next year. Does anyone have any experience with this program?

I used it in a very limited capacity, and liked what I saw of it. I used it with a teen who has autism, and it was very helpful making math concepts concrete for him. But like I said, I only got to use it maybe three or four times.

We decided that Math U See was too expensive for us. We did find Math Mastermind and were able to get the sets for K, 1st and 2nd. These were much cheaper ($5.98 each at a discount bookstore) and seem to have a wider variety of manipulatives. I think my kids will love math this year!

As I thought, my kids love MathMastermind. They keep asking me if they can do their math, even on the weekends. Hopefully, their enthusiasm will continue through the year.
