I'm a high school math teacher and found a great site : www.mathwarehouse.com . It has some really awesome interactive activities you can have your kids use to learn slope, ordered-pairs, or a great one one triangles (You should check out the latter at http://www.mathwarehouse.com/geometry/triangles/interactive-triangle.htm ).

Has anyone found any other good interactive math websites or even just great interactive math software (that's not necessarily web-based)? I teach in the inner city in New York, and my students have responded so strongly to interactive math software at the site above that i'm trying to see what else is out there!

This site was one of my favorite finds recently. I am new at student teaching so I appreciate your suggestions as well.

This site uses powerpoint (jeopardy) to cover almost all math topics. I really liked this one.

I am writing once more to thank you. I have just looked at the mathwarehouse site that you recommended and am planning to implement it. My students have had a difficult time taking the linear equation information and applying what they know to linear solutions. This site may help us. Thanks again.

Did you try QuickMathFacts? Mostly for elementary age but also middle schoolers who struggle because they didn't learn the facts yet. Great interactive math fact practice tool that lets kids test themselves on basic math fact knowledge and shows them a progress chart to give them an incentive to improve. Can be used to run timed tests on groups of kids at the same time and displays a leaderboard of real-time results. No need for paper and pencil tests! See www.quickreckoning.com/quickmathfacts.htm. Teachers can set up virtual classrooms and can monitor individual children's progress this way.

for middle school skills, it has great links to sites with games and virtual manipulatives.
