6th grade math

I need some input or ideas for a lesson on designing a home. My students are using sketchpad software. I want them to be able to design floor plan, measure, and then do a model. If anyone has any information or lessons similar I would appreciate any and all ideas.

I used a math lab from teachnology a while back. You can find it here:

It has a similar concept. You want to add a dollar value for materials and see who can build the house for the lowest cost.

I've never heard of the software that you're referring to. However, I would like to know where it can be purchased so that my students will be able to draw and measure using "Angles".
