I am trying to buy a classroom performance system, which is a fancy name for the new interactive, engaging, remote controls that students use in class to stay totally participatory. Does anybody have any good/bad experience with any of them? The ones I'm looking at are the CPS, Beyond Question and Edugame/Eduware. Thanks for your help

That's a bunch of money to spend when simple sleeve-protector whiteboards will do much of the same. I can understand the expenditure if you have over 100 students in your class, like in college.

The one I use is the older Qwizdom (blue controllers). It is great if you can afford it. I can grade tests with it, play educational games, ask questions, play video clips and audio clips, Power-point-like presentations, take roll, etc. I used to have a room full of computers but this takes its place. There is curriculum to go with it or you can make your own. The kids love it to and ask for it.
Qwizdom.com for more info about it.
