What do you think the meaning is behind this poem?
I would like to know too, as I wondered whether it was about hunting or people dying!

Ballad - Rhyming Couplets

Repition - had died, had died
-For dramatic effect

PERSONIFICATION:

- Voice itself had Died
- Breath's space
- Air had Cried

EMOTIVE LANGUAGE:

Strangers starting....
Walked on...

-How the Rabbit and the hunter start out as strangers and after the killing of the rabbit they walk away together (rabbit in hand of hunter)

THEMES:

Death, Killing, Companionship through force?


OTHER:

Hunting Rabbits, Captured in forest, hunter is the hangman - he kills the rabbit in the "wood gallows" of the forest, Rabbits voice is gone after the hunter supresses (kills) it (No voice, air Gone", Exultation of trak= Greatness of the chase.
