I've spent about half a day hacking together a solution to find out whether students have copied parts of their essays from the Internet. You can click below to visit the site:
Check for plagiarism for free (http://www.plagiarismchecker.com) (PlagiarismChecker.com)
It's not quite finished yet, but the basic features are already there. If you type in several phrases from a student's paper, the site will analyze your input and take you to a Google search results page displaying Web pages that have one or more of the phrases you typed in.
I'd appreciate some feedback on the site, especially in these areas:
Features that could be added or changed
Suggestions to make the site easier to use
What the site logo should look like
Color scheme and arrangement of the home page
Since the site isn't finished yet, there are probably lots of things I haven't thought to even ask about. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)
