Hi there everyone,
I am currently a first year student and although I have limited experience in the classroom, I would strongly recommend getting a hold of the book 'Chicken soup for the teachers soul'. This book is a collection of real-life stories from teachers about their personal experiences in the classroom. It was an amazeing read and really opened my eyes to the the long road I face ahead of me. Although some of the stories are touching and sad, there are many that simply highlight the joys that teachers find when they are rewarded for their long years of time and effort. If this is what teachings really like, then I can't wait!
If anyone has read the book or would like any more information about it, I would love a reply.
