Firstly i would like to carry out an interclass corresponding project with a class of the same age as my students from anywhere ;secondly i am seaking a school that would like to establish partnership whith mine . Here I write to you my conception of how I would like
to implement the first experience . What I expect from such a project is to motivate my
students to improve their abilities and knowledges. The correspondence
will not a simple person to person emailing, but we will be two
co-operating groups in a way that we will be forming a web between us :
everybody knows everybody. Each side will discuss new acquirements from the
others ( cultural ideas, beahviours, achievements...) so each class has a
shared impression of the other one. This will repand the ideas to all
members of each group and will let the teacher help his students
understand the other side right. Moreover, since I focus on motivation, there
should be a kind of competition between members of each class to
ameliorate their behaviour towards the best, because the other class will be
preparing a present or prize for the students they will vote as the
best.
Now, let me tell you about my school. It is a new one. this is our
first year of work and it is a real success for us for we succeeded to
gather 160 students in our first year. The school is called 'Wahat Al
Anouar' = Oase of light. Ages range from 4 to 13. We are in a city in the
sought east Morocco, in the last department which is close to the great
SAHARA which is the ocean of lethal heat and vast sands that separates
north Africa from black Africa. Our warm naked nature attracts a lot of
tourists from all over the world all year long. all our students are
Moroccan, and we are 13 teachers , 5 males and the rest are females. I am
one of the male teachers. We have 14 computers , all of them in one
classroom, the one where I teach computing. I don't teach computing only
but I am the English language of the school as well. Along with work i
study comparative literature for the MA this year and i have an affinity
for intercultural interaction.
Take care and be safe
Looking forwards.
